About the Artist

Sussex (UK) based painter inspired by a passion for the animal world and a wish to help conservation & certain animal charities whenever possible.

Whilst mostly self-taught, I have attended many workshops and have also been fortunate in being tutored by Asphodel Fleischman (Slade) and, more recently, David Boys (Royal College of Art) at London Zoo.

An experienced animal portraitist, my work has gone to private collections in the USA and Australia as well as the UK.

Exhibitions include:
The Mall Galleries, London, & Palace House, Newmarket (Society of Equestrian Artists);
Banham Zoo, Norfolk; Bristol Zoo; Wildwood; Port Lympne Zoo; The Round House Gallery, Spalding (The Wildlife Art Society);
Obsidian Art Gallery: The Horse in Art, Out of Africa,
